For those women with hair loss issues, be sure to look at my hats and head wear!
I have marked hats that are soft and full covering for those going through chemo or other hair loss issues, with a " * " after the description. Please be on the look out for more of these hats in the future.
I want you to have the softest and best covering hat during times that can be so trying at best!
I had a give-a-way hat last October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and intend to do the same again this year! A special, one of a kind hat, full of softness and beauty!

About the Artist
Thimble & Stone creates Bridge style jewelry as well as items made from yarn and fabrics. My motto, "from inspiration to creation", is one that I feel best fits the ever challenging flow of artistic talent that comes from within. My name is Shelly, owner of Thimble & Stone, I was born and raised in Vermont, one of the most scenic areas I have had the privilege to grow up in. Being taught to knit and crochet by both my mother and grandmother, started my journey in to hand-made. In later years the 4-H group I belonged to taught me a great love of sewing. The jewelry making grew out of a desire to have certain pieces for certain outfits, and not able to find, "just what I wanted", I began making my own, learning more and more techniques from friends, jewelry making magazines and books. I was also greatly influenced by a liberal arts college in our town during the 60's & 70's. The "Hippies" taught me about differences and how we all are living in the same world, how not to be afraid to go beyond the artistic limits and always be authentic. I am grateful and blessed for the above experiences. After much travel around the country and overseas, I have come to settle in Kentucky. It too has a great scenic beauty and embraces art from old to new. The rich heritage is quite vivid when looking at Kentucky art. I have had some wonderful opportunities to be exposed to, and to enrich from. Today, I have been making high quality bridge jewelry for over 25 years, fabric items for over 30 years, and yarn items longer than that. With so many people telling me, "you ought to sell that!", I decided to do just that and Thimble & Stone has been born. To all who visit here, welcome! I come from an era where we waved at passing cars, and gave a smile to people we passed on the street! I am fortunate to live in an area today, where that friendly smile and welcome wave remain. Please enjoy, and know that I stand behind the quality and workmanship of Thimble & Stone.
